Hmmmm chevron is good for gas but with Joe shea saying there is oil under block 2. Why Sinopec because the Chevron prospect may be the largest on the block 1 and now goes under block 2. If a deal was struck for development Chevron may waste time developing block 2 prospects. But with Sinopec, you get a company that may try and develop block 2 and finance partial development of the obo/?? field. With chevron, I think they may take their time and focus on block 1 since their partner in block 1 is exxon.
