Keep your eye on NYNY ($4.80).
Empire Resorts (NYNY) is a little-known micro-cap "racino" play located 90 miles from NYC, operates Monticello Raceway. NAV had lost nearly 50% YTD but appears to have found a floor at $4.25. Has plans to build a $500 million "Class III" Native American casino with Gov. Pataki's support.
NAV has been held down by litigation opposing creation of casino, but US Supreme Court ruled in favor of NYNY over the past month. Should new casino construction begin (as appears likely, imho, with legal obstacles apparently out of the way) price could/should skyrocket.
Do your own dd before jumping in, but looks good to me (disclosure: I am "long" NYNY at $4.60).
