A 3 paragraph post only allows for so much detail - lol. I would qualify my comments on debt to exclude certain appreciating assets like real estate and education expenses since those fall into the "investment" catagory. Simply put, If it depreciates, don't borrow to buy it. I will also allow an exception for basic transportation but a new Honda, Lexus, Porsche, etc, do not fall into the "basic transportation" catagory.
