OOO, Ambri is making liquid metal batteries. Note: two words. Liquid. Metal.

There are many forms of liquid metal products. GE has used an iron based form for decades in transformers. But GE is not using Vitreloy or any other form of LQMT's alloys. And Ambri is not using them in their batteries.

Here is a link to a video in which the co-founder of Ambri, Donald Sadowsky, describes the battery (it's 1/2 way through the 15 minute video):

In that video he talks about "high density liquid metal on top," and "low density liquid metal on the bottom," with a salt solution between the two. Clearly he is NOT talking about the LQMT alloys.

In another article, Ambri describes a smaller version of the large battery that Sadowsky is describing. The small battery has liquid metal components that measure 4"x4," which are larger than anything that LQMT can currently produce.
