Is it possible when shares switched hands yesterday that the MM's scooped them up and are now holding them at a much higher price than they bought them for yesterday?

I know this means nothing at this very moment but that would be a very interesting strategy. I sold 1/3 of my position but I'm in at a comfortable average cost basis and I'm just waiting for all this to play out. Should be interesting.
