My Take On The Show
Not a great show. In fact a lot of so-so or even bad performances.
Dexter- best he has ever been, picked a good song sang it well, connected to it. Grade A-
Malaya- went from not so great last week to the head of the class this week. she was really good. under control, like starting off at the piano. not saying the vocal was perfect, but it was really good, but made you feel something. sang with something to prove I like that. Grade A-
Caleb- he was really good, although not as good as last week. at some point he is going to need to sing a power ballad, because this only shows one side, but I will say this it is better then most here can ever dream of. Grade B+
Jena- Started off the show sang it well, but that song doesn't allow you to showcase your vocals enough in my opinion. Although I think she was solid, but far from great, mostly because the song will only let you score so high. Grade B
Ben- sang better then normal for me found his tone much less annoying. although the J's didn't agree. still not moved though. Grade C+
Sam- he sang decently, but as was said everything is in one tone. one mood, it is the same thing every week. not enough power though, but does have good tone, but needs to change it up, problem is unlike caleb, I don't think he will be successful when he does. Grade C+
Emily- not a song you should sing in a singing competition. got the people up but half the time hard to here the vocals. I think she has one of the better voices but far from the best. Grade C
CJ- Vocal wasn't great although I felt him somewhat. okay performance. Grade C
Majesty- started off great, looked like she was going to have a moment, but that song is about hitting the notes at the end. And to say she didn't hit them would be saying it lightly. first half was and A, Second half was like a D-. So I average it out to about a C. Grade C
Alex- one knows I like alex, but that paled in comparison to the original. arrangement wasn't great either. Grade C-
Jessica- that was not very good and I'm being nice. she sang the whole song out of tune. wrong song choice for her. Grade D-
MK-that was just not very good. in fact it was the worst of the night in my opinion. Grade F
