How easy is it to get a rx for V from a doctor?

As previously reported, i convinced my 50 yr old nephew to get V because of a bad heart condition. The dude is a super food salesman but short on science and details. So on the first go-around, he erroneously got an rx for Lovaza instead.

Second round...he called today to say his GP wrote him the rx for V even though the doc had never heard of V.

Based upon my nephew's experience, it appears many doctors are willing to accommodate patients re V without much hassle.
