There is a current, sizable CDMA2000 handset and Infrastructure market being sold World Wide..IDCC has included CDMA2000 in their 3G licensing..IMO: IDCC Management would have been derelict if they did not obtain a strong MOU from Ericsson for a 3G license with RATES established..when they settled for 2G for $34 Million after ten hard years of litigation.

Especially given the worldwide hiccup in the telecom sector and, more specifically, 3G WCDMA.
