I got ahold of a rep at Scottrade and he looked up SFOR's ticker and said they are not allowing anymore purchases of SFOR (only sales) due to NSCC Liquid Charges. In a nutshell, it means that there is now a higher cost for them to trade the SFOR ticker...ticks me off because I'm the customer and they won't trade SFOR because they won't profit as much. That is a bum deal. This can happen from other brokerage firms too.
