I was reading yest where they have a proposed rule change for the 3 day settlement period. It looks like they are going to change it to 2 days instead of 3, at least that's what the proposal appears to be. It would be great for the whole market if they changed it, that rule was made way before the lightning fast computer trading age was here, the rule is a DINOSAUR like the trading days it was made in.
