rene, the two big markets are the US and the EU. Drugs can and do get approved in the EU even if they fail in the US. And as I recall from my days from investing in Encysive, you can get approved in Australia and Canada apart from the US. Probably Asia, too.

Here's the problem with counting on that. If the US trial fails, who is going to fund the process to get approved anywhere else - and if they did - what makes you think the results would be any different? The US and EU approval trials are linked - and they are the prizes.

I understand your frustration - we're hearing that people are having success with the vaccine, so why should the FDA be able to roadblock its usage? Well, they can't if the vaccine works. They won't be able to find a technicality if the stats are there.

I know it's a popular belief that the FDA favors big pharma. I think there's probably some truth to that. A big pharma probably gets the break if a drug is borderline and they probably have the FDA's ear.

But big pharmas have drugs denied all the time and small pharmas have successes all the time. As long as the data is there.
