I unfortunately have to agree with your assessment of the "progress" at the Ruby. Quite awhile ago there was a toll milling agreement pr'er that seems to have resulted in nothing. That was to be a good opportunity to "fine tune" the mill operation and hopefully produce some $ to offset costs. Now its "we really didn't sample much of anything". When I saw the picture posted of the initial 15 tons I thought "this stuff looks like crap", and that's the way it turned out :( So we gotta hope the pace will pick up and the sampling is of material from the target gravels.
