I have been to many conferences, not medical. If you notice, most of their booths are in a row, so it is in essence one large space. Not likely booths will be separated by disease indication. Rather, one unified theme, but I really would not read to much into it. So, why a large footprint? Two inter-related reasons. One is strategic. They what to raise the general visibility of the company. Two, with or without the abstract, they are confident there will be some data driven splash by then. Keep in mind that if the abstract is rejected, then we can expect to hear some preliminary results from DC-direct. And I am absolutely convinced that they are seeing positive results. If the PHIII is stopped early, they can buy the whole convention center.
