Yes, even for longs, especially in a penny stock that takes off. Many here have many shares of LQMT, so if it goes to say $1, and then pulls back to 90 cents...well, "gulp", that's going to be quite a chunk of change lost in the pull back. And even greater losses in a 10% pull back as it goes up further.
The forward looking idea that one will hold till say $4, or more, easier said than done. But,
the future may be so bright with a company, it will be easy to hold. Who knows, but Im sure as the LQMT pps rises, this board will become filled with "newbies" trying to get us to sell, as they make their "short" bet. I can say I won't sell at $1, but when I see that huge amount in my brokerage account and what it can provide me...and the urge to keep it safe. I know my finger will want to hit that "sell" button.
