orda: Network access control is not new in and of itself. Cisco was way out in front of the pack offering working enterprise solutions...and they have sold it to enterprises too.

I think they have been staking out the broad enterprise market and since TPM equipped platforms are not yet broadly distributed there was no need for them to tip their existing customers ... they kept on selling and marketing....

But make no mistake, as Trusted Computing AND TPMs continue to make inroads the game changes dramatically! Also for Cisco!
