I just looked at the definition to make sure I used it properly, Yup.
The self-fulfilling prophecy is, in the beginning, a false definition of the situation evoking a new behavior which makes the original false conception come 'true'. This specious validity of the self-fulfilling prophecy perpetuates a reign of error. For the prophet will cite the actual course of events as proof that he was right from the very beginning.[1]

In other words, a negative prophecy, strongly held belief, or delusion—declared as truth when it is actually false—may sufficiently influence people so that their reactions ultimately fulfill the once-false prophecy.



Follow the money, there are going to be many, many institutions that will not be able to get their hands on Perk once it is perfected. There are tons of research and development dollars at risk and there are many, many that will appear as a fool. If we didn't have the Likes of Miller, Turpin and Leonberger on board we could very well get buried.
