Did you catch the 'anyone can do this' comment? LOL! no, they can't. Not even close...I can guarantee that, that's why people get hired to do this kind of a job...It actually takes some knowledge of the process...

I've been a software developer for 18 years, though not in front end stuff like HTML or javascript. Still, I've put up my own website for math tutoring, and messed around learning HTML, some PHP, and some Javascript.

I want to try Wordpress but it's not a simple matter to learn it, or any of the above. For me to make a website like that would take several days of learning and work.

You can do something really basic and low quality very quickly, but it takes some time to get good enough with it to make a slick website.

Then add in the Google analytics, and the web commerce stuff, and it's quickly a big challenge... perhaps not hard if you buy the right tools which automate that stuff, but you still have to find the tools and learn them, or hire someone who knows which tools to use.
