I don't think so.....if he had the big monitor plugged into the converter & another monitor plugged into his laptop, then they both work fine. It's only when he connects the 3rd monitor when he gets the issue. He can connect any 2 monitors in any ports and it works fine. He's gotta be in the "Projector Only" mode. I'm 99.99% sure that's the issue.
