I just received my end of 2013 statement from Fidelity and my last year's performance was 232%.

Like I said, I win hands down.

I had a difficult decision last year. I did not anticipate the FDA suspension of Iclusig. I had this PRAN play on the burner that I believed had a high probability of success. Rather than wait for the FDA to lift the suspension, I pretty much went all in on PRAN.

I would rather make a couple of million dollars being totally wrong on the science than make a few thousand being right on the science a few times. Of course one doesn't preclude the other.
I believe the perfect biotech investor (if there were such an animal) would have a comprehensive knowledge of the science, industry, and (sometimes nebulous) historical factors that move biotech stocks.
I guess we should throw some good connections and great luck into the mix.
