This has already been done in the past by researchers. There are peer reviewed publications out there on this method. Nothing new. The only reason why they are incorporating this technique into their chromophores is because the chromophores they created have poor solubility as I mentioned all along. The combination interaction of both chromophores is not fully understood so I doubt they understand as well.
