That's correct, Ronny, but most of those royalty revenues were of the paid-up variety and one-time in nature. As you yourself pointed out, recurring royalty was only $1.5M. If I remember correctly, IDCC exited 1998 with only $52M in cash/investments and it was, at that time, excluded from the market controlled by Ericsson, Motorola and Nokia or approximately 60%-70% of the market.

IDCC exited 1998 with a positive cash flow of $30M after exiting 1997 with a negative cash flow of $24M. Entering 1999, it wasn't all that clear where IDCC's cash flow was going to come from after all the paid-up royalties that came in 1998.
