CNES.....good post below... By: stervc 06 Feb 2006, 07:40 AM EST Msg. 300961
CNES has a few capabilities to offer where as with their competitors, they offer either one or the other of similar CNES comparisons with much poorer response rates from what I was told a while back by the company.
I think many of the utility companies are still using meter men. Well, sad to say, CNES will be putting the Meter Man out of business. CNES will be saving the government huge money with their remote technology. With their technology, you don’t ever have to go up to the house monthly to get an accurate reading. Everything can be done from your van/vehicle while driving down the street on a daily basis.
I think the reading is also transmittable to a central location to give an exact reading immediately on a daily basis. A person does not have to be home to get a reading for those areas with meters in the house. The man-hours in this industry will be significantly reduced because of CNES.
They have already been building a pending clientele that all have been waiting for this FCC approval to happen. We all know that they have been in talks with some of everybody, now it’s time to see how much they really have been working on behind the scenes to close.
There were a few other things about their technology, but I would recommend you call the company to hear certain things from them and not me.
