Managua, Jan 11 (Prensa Latina) Nicaragua's Government issued today a clear statement expressing its confidence about the construction of inter-oceanic canal and it also guaranteed women's participation in the parliamentary executive board and initiated its educational plan.

An official statement, signed by president Daniel Ortega and Wang Jing, general director of the Chinese licensed company, confirmed that construction works of the Grand Canal will begin as scheduled, that is in December, 2014.
