etienne, you are very kind, but I'll go along with what ou and flipper have saidd. It's all of us in this together, informing ourselves better and learning so much due to the generosity of our fellow contributors. I've learnt more about cancer and the immune system in the past 3 months than I have in the past 3 years, thanks to this board and the terrific contributors here. So, regardless of the outcome for NWBO, my many thanks to all who have taken time out to share their thoughts and expertise with all of us.
gpb, an excellent summary of the strategic options for DCVax-Prostate. One thing that NWBO is very good at doing is working behind the scenes without making much noise (and I must add that as an shareholder, this can sometimes be very frustrating) and I would fully expect the team to be working on folding Prostate into the generic DCVax line. So, from 3 platforms we move to 2, and then eventually, perhaps, to just one (or one-and-a-half).
Flipper, about Big Pharma watching us.....Dok had mentioned yesterday on the smokescreens and mirrors that may be employed (if DCVax is successful I think it will be a rather aggressive form of such tactics that'd be used). I found that funny because that was the exact same thought I had when I read the PR of the partnership between Pfizer and MD Anderson. We surely are in for interesting times !
Would have been good to see Linda present at the big, bad, JP Morgan Healthcare conference. Hopefully next year. But since we have two conferences this month, not too disappointed. I have a mild gut feel we'd get something out of Dr. Bosch on the 27th. It may be too early for results from the DCVax-Direct trial as enrollment has been stretched due to the stringent procedures involved in first-in-human use, but I would expect that phase to be done with by now and enrollment henceforth should be at a fast clip. Also, given the learnings they'd have had by now, I expect some sort of technical update on Direct from Dr. Bosch.
