Remember, the grandfather Paneth patent designing the TDMA system has been upheld in Germany after the US courts poured it out in the Mot case. The only out for Nok would be a complete dismantling of every patent claim and they can argue failure of and no consideration. As a practical matter Nok cannot accomplish such a task by the license expiration date for 2 and 2.5G and will make no attempt an effort of such magnitude.
