Wavoids- I had a telecon with a software rep in IBM technical center in Atlanta. He admitted not knowing everything about their Client Security Solutons@tm but did pull up version 6 and could not find anything about software bundled with the Atmel TPM 1.2. There were in house capabilities that read much like the ETS/ESC. Nothing about interoperability. In particular the Ultimaco Safeguard Private Disk capability was referred to. I then asked specifically about Wave Systems software products and he knew nothing of them. And nothing shows up doing a word search at that site. Since the X60 and T60 Thinkpads are available now and they both have the Atmel TPM 1.2, I would have expected new instructions should have been present in Lenovo's CSSv6.0. I even went to the ThinkAdvantage web site and read much of what the IBM rep was reading. Nothing.

I have concluded that the Atmel/Wave agreement does allow Atmel to continue to deliver their TPMs to Lenovo minus Wave, and Atmel is doing so.

No 10 cents coming from Atmel chip sales to Lenovo. IMHO. I will be embarrassed if I am wrong and boy do I hope I am wrong.
