I have been checked out on Linkedin by FDA attorney Michael Varrone . Not as JL, but as my real name..It may have had to do with this letter I sent to FDA head Margaret Hamburg. I am not aware of anyone else being "checked out"

Thanks for sharing that - it's exactly why I preferred to work in the shadows in this case - I do not need the grief and anxiety, plus potential lawyer fees I could not possibly afford, if I got publicly involved using my real name.

But what exactly is "being checked out on Linkedin"? mean? How do you know if someone looked at your L-in profile?

Reason I ask is that some FDA guy keeps sending me invitations to his Linkedin profile, and it's not being sent to the alias and email addy I use here, which is rather bizarre. I think I know where he may have obtained my addy, not going to say where though. Actually, just double checked his info, and the invitation claims to be from an engineer from India who just happens to share the exact name of an FDA employee who is a chemist. Weird....my L-in profile is a fraud in any case, not in my name and I filled out nothing.

P.S. Excellent letter to Hamburg - have you gotten any response yet?
