Loop, is there any reason to expect better from Huawei? Nokia was a European company; ethical standards are somewhat higher in Europe than in China. Yet Nokia chose a scorched earth policy, mainly because they could. The impact of FRAND royalties to IDCC over the last few years would not have seriously dented their bottom line.

Huawei, on the other hand, was created and matured in an environment where playing dirty is normal, stealing IP is second nature. Many of us have experienced first-hand how vendors of ripped-off brand name products are tipped off when an inspection is scheduled.

I hope, for our sakes, the arbitration parameters are solidly set. Even then, I shall be pleasantly surprised if Huawei graciously accepts the decision.
