Saleen s7 was produced from the ground up... Including the frame unlike the Hennessy which used the lotus exige chassis. Saleen also assembled the WHOLE CAR in the USA. They didn't ship it off to England or anywhere else like Hennessy. Saleen produced the S7 at there plant in Irvine,CA

So IMO other then Hennessy having the worlds fastest car Saleen still holds the title to the fastest America Supercar as it was actually completely assembled here in the US.
