Clarification on CIP patent assigns please:

Gamesc, thank you for posting that filing. The Assignee is Apple, Inc. and not CIP. The filing date is stated as 12/19/2013 - which falls within the timeframe of the extended amendment between LMT and Apple requiring LMT to assign all of its new patents to CIP. (Said amendment terminates Feb., 2014.)

The agreement seems to be a one way street, requiring LMT, but not Apple, to assign all patents regarding Bulk Amorphous Alloys, filed within the term of the agreement, to CIP. Is my interpertation of the amendment correct, and if so, what was the benefit (to LMT) for said agreement and what will LMT gain by extending the agreement for another two years?
