I frequently do internet search engine searches for various combinations with "aerostat" and geography, department or company names. Several weeks ago this request for proposals showed upon on a Google search I did, I don't think I have posted it yet:

I think this RFP is interesting for two reasons. First, it shows that interest in this technology is reaching into other markets/customer bases outside the DoD. Second,the specifications are informative if you read them in detail and compare them to what we can do at LTASCorp/WSGI. IMO this is another small indication that this market is growing and the technology is diffusing.

If you believe in technology diffusion, you want to look for indicators like this IMO. If you need to do some reading on technology diffusion, I suggest the classic, Everett Rogers, Diffusion of Innovations. I have been surprised here in my time at Ihub how little investors seem to understand about the nature of technology diffusion even though they are trying to time it with their investments. JMO.
