rbarios, with all due respect... you are greatly mistaken. "Governments never adopt new technology quickly"? How about they are the FIRST to adopt new technology. GPS, developed by the military then spread to the civilian world. Jeep, same thing. The process of freeze drying, as well. The first computer was developed by the US government in world war II. Microwaves, duct tape... I can keep going on and on. Our government is always looking to forward our technological capability no matter the dollar amount.

Secondly, some of the reactions to the federal grant expert, Doug, are mind blowing! I speak as both a USAF veteran AND a government contractor. Contracts and funding are not awarded based solely on, for a lack of a better term, merit. You NEED to have someone that knows what they are doing to deal with this very VERY unique process. After 11yrs, I still don't have the best grasp of the system. I've been on contracts that were... less than amazing that got renewed. I've also been on mission essential contracts that got cancelled somehow! The guy writing the proposals is the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT person in the process.

I am not happy about how this stock has turned out, but this is the first solid piece of news I have heard this entire year.

Somebody is going to ask, "how long will it take?" IDK, too many variables, but it isn't a super quick process. Best case, 4 months, but probably closer to 10 months till we get funding IF we get funding.

Here is what we do know... they had two sit downs with the USAF. It is hard to get a sit down. You sure as hell don't get ANOTHER interview if you are trying to pitch a spaghetti strainer with tin foil on it.

Lastly, some people are WAAYY too positive. "The update said, but the update said". Stop. That is known as single source reporting. It is not always reliable, especially when the source has something to gain/lose. Take updates with a grain of salt and look for other bits of information. Do research on the competetion. Don't just take Mark's word for it. Conversely, I am convinced some of you aren't happy unless you are complaining. It boggles my mind, but I know people like that. You're mad b/c we hired the one guy that might actually save this dismal investment?

I'm done ranting. Let's all put in a dip or pour a couple fingers and what happens, happens. Merry Christmas guys.
