"Spartan Armor is real"

Indeed it is.

But it has nothing to do with Sparta(note no "n") Armor or its mysterious CEO JJ Wendell, who only exists in NNAN land and on an extremely amateurish website that was set up specifically to be part of the NNAN scam.

So who are Sparta Armor?

Aside from this PR, they have virtually no web presence.

This is their website, functioning when the PR was released at the beginning of 2012. Now you will note that it has been suspended.:

which consists of one page only, with nothing else apart from a gmail address for a Mr. H B Norris

and a company email address for a Mr. JJ Wendell, who is apparently the CEO of this mighty organization.

Mr Wendell and Sparta Armor were unknown to the Internet before they issued the press release today:

The Sparta Armor website was set up in September 2011:

There's every chance this new "company" Sparta Armor and this website were set up last year to give a spurious reason for promoting this most transparent of scams.

Certainly they've left no other trace of any activity behind them.
