OT Our school system is better off ending formal education at 8th grade and having an alternative education high school system where students have the choice of what subjects to study and where they have a chance to find out what careers would suit them. Instead the robot mentality of education continues in high school where learning is not the number 1 goal, passing federal and state mandated tests is.
