Ya know perhaps folks that lack self confidence probably should not be invested in something so forward looking. For the first 7 years or so Lightwave was literally starved for cash and they pretty much lived a hand to mouth existence, IMO because the university of Washington (Through Larry Dalton) had convinced Uncle Sam not to fund Lightwave Logic but rather Lumera (Gig) . You heard Bintzs comment when he worked for Lumera “We had all the money”. But we got over that, Love them or hate them agree or disagree JM and Phil Smith arranged for funding through LPC. Funny for all the criticism of that funding I’ve never read a better option by the folks that don’t like that source. And Shorty after Phil Smith steps aside JM moves over and Z moves to the CEO slot where (because they now have money) he lays out a plan to move to a new lab to clean the perk and in June of 2012 (18 months ago) they accomplished the lab move and in December of 2012 they are at 98.9% pure. (I personally lost over $1000k trying to help them do that proly 5 to 7 years ago through accelapure) Shoot in August of 2012, 15 F’n months ago at the SHM Joe Miller said something to the effect that “Ya know if we proceed down the road that we are headed down we could have a nice little business here, however, if we can make devices we can control the market”. OK fast forward through all the bitching and moaning we had to listen to last week when they announce that they have a Silicon Organic Hybrid (SOH) Prototype Modulator Device the footprint of the modulation is as large as a grain of salt (1/20th the length of a typical inorganic-based silicon photonics modulator waveguide), that operates at about ¼ the voltage and Perkinamine is capable of operating at both 1310nm (Data Com) and 1550 nm (Tel Com) on a Single silicon substrate at 30-35 Gb/sec. OK now I’m far from being a genius but isn’t this what they told us that they were going to do? I also far from understand this but I’m remembering Fred Leonbergers Modulator drawing with the wave guide split in 2 then split one more time. Whatever guys, yes we want it all and we want it now, On a personal note in the past 18 months I’ve accomplished something in my life that I never thought that I’d be capable of doing but it doesn’t even come close to what they have done here. So I’d ask each of you that before you criticize them and want all the answers NOW look back at your goals that you put down in writing a year and a half ago and see which of them you accomplished, then look to see if there are any unanswered questions that an outsider could ask, because no they do not have all the answers, it is a work in progress. Oh and I forgot the big one, the only reason that we are here, Perkinamine does not break down at temperatures achieved in the CMOS process and last I heard did not require protection from oxygen. AND That is the reason I invested here going on 10 years now.

Whatever, I’m not sure that some here have the stomach for technology that can Leapfrog today’s established Billion Dollar markets and guys if you don’t think that we will see games, tricks, buddy, buddy, “I’m a friend”, trickery, sell 100k shares today buy some tomorrow, try to starve them here, make you try and doubt yourself so you yell at the team. Guys and look at the money being spent in Acadamia, that is only reason that Lightwave became public in the first place. Whatever, this is (was) probably one of the best most relevant forums for researching not only the technology but the people, employees and their backgrounds going, many here (as we are getting SO CLOSE) appear to be getting wobbly knees and think that if they vent publicly about there frustrations it will somehow change the speed at which this is quantum physics is proceeding and some frickin how help their investment, Well Like I said, perhaps this isn’t for you. Perhaps some well established business that will yield you an annual 5% growth would be better suited. So go ahead an encourage the nay sayers, try to answer every question that they raise, oh before you do that go to the published information and click on the data sheet link, Oops I think is says that you have to sign an NDA doesn’t it?

And yes this will end with a Buy Out.

Happy Thanksgiving, I’ve got to pack so I won’t be hanging on the board.
