Jeff Crittenden lives in the remote mountains of Nevada. He had zero experience in the wine industry and only became a part of the company because his Brother in Law is Brian Bumgarner, a wine maker in Northern CA.

Apparently Jeff felt he was taking over a company that had much more infrastructure that it really had. The reason Jeff, nor Brian, have done anything to awake the company is because they did not invest a dime of their own money when partnering with Frank. Frank basically gave them the company, knowing all to well what his plans were.
