I have never heard Jeff say he was used by Frank.

Frank Yglesias used Jeff Crittenden as a "Fall Man," and when the time was right he left the company with all the company assets. Another question is as to why Jeff continued to let Frank spend the companies money in China, but never saw the store for himself during his time as CEO. Jeff tried to run the business from the mountains of Nevada and had zero idea of what Frank was doing with the companies money.
