Comparisons have been made by some between Visser and Steipp/LQMT, as to the benefits of this
sudden turn in the dynamics of LQMT, going from VISSER having sole rights for making Liquid Metal parts to selling the ENGEL/LQMT Turn Key Machine. And the comparison of VISSERS management
style to the "lacking" management style of Steipp. So, one has to consider how long Steipp has been with LQMT and how long it may have taken the scientists at LQMT and ENGEL to come up with the design of the TURN KEY machine, while LQMT was trying to make prototype parts for potential
customers, through Visser. You may come to a more clear idea on who had the better vision.
I guess its all about how we perceive reality. I cannot see how the VISSER plan of parts distribution
could have worked. The manpower it would have taken in sales teams and machines to provide Visser Cast Parts the ability to meet future world demand as compared to the idea of selling the machines
so industry components can make their own parts with on site assistance from the ever increasing networks of ENGEL specialists. One has to step back from the "love affair" of Visser the man and mattress salesman, and Im sure he's a wonderful person, and I know he and I have much in common with our "VIETNAM" experience..so Im sure I"d get along with him over a cold beer. But this isn't about Visser the man, who spends much of his time with Race Cars..this is about how to get Liquid Metal into the world before competition passes us by.
