Here's the Bush and Barry legacy, and it's turning into much more Barry now than even Bush. History will not be kind to these idiots who simply keep kicking the can down the road and saying "SCREW those who come after me . . . let them figure out the mess."

The Recovery That Wasn't

Only Thing "Improving" Is Stock Market

For an example of how this will play out, look to our neighbors in the south...

Venezuela's Caracas Stock Index is crushing it. It's up over 620% just this year.

It's the best-performing stock market in the world...

But people there can't even get toilet paper. They have to ration electricity. There were 400 blackouts larger than 100 megawatts in 2011. That doubled to 800 blackouts in 2012.

In October, a woman there lost her unborn child after fist-fighting someone for the last bag of cornflour in a Caracas supermarket.

But their stock market is at all-time highs.

The only thing "improving" is the stock market.

A national debt at $17 trillion... the Fed printing $85 billion per month, with no end in sight.

The trampling of your civil rights by the NSA.

The IRS targeting of people for their political beliefs.

The bankruptcy of Detroit.

The utter militarization of police.

The Justice Department's hacking of AP reporters' emails.

Where is the recovery... economic, social, or political?

It doesn't exist.

40% of the country says capitalism isn't working.

And I'd have to say that's because we're not operating in a capitalistic system any more...

We have corporatism. The bailing out of banks and the purchase of junk bonds and manipulation of rates by the Fed is anything but capitalism.
