when we were up to our eyeballs in the clean-up and mom noticed the side panel of the computer was ajar.
Mind you this computer is a Dell XPS 720, the star of it's day back in 2007.
We stopped to fix it, figuring it fell off it's track or something.
Dell put the casing together with 2-sided sticky tape strips and the sticky tape lost it's strength.
Duct tape to the rescue.
Today, I installed the latest version of Iobit's Advanced System Care. Ran it and it found 1,106 items to be repaired.
After the reboot, it wanted the Roxio CD to update the Roxio manager.
All good with that and now it's defragging.
When this is all done, I'll go back over there and see how tough those remaining 2 toolbars are.
