Apparently, Wilner was hired as interim CEO. According to the website from his consulting business, nFlexion, he acts as an interim CEO for 6 to 18 months and has done this with 20 other companies.
Hopefully, he is to the point that he turns the reigns back over and does what he says he does best...bring CSpace to commercialization!
Also, I agree with Big Mo that it sounds like we are in great hands with Victor Keen. Maybe this was the plan all along!

INTERIM EXECUTIVE ASSIGNMENTS

Our focus is providing interim executive services for early stage technology companies. Typically one of our senior executives will come to your site and work closely with you for one or two weeks per month (every other week). For most early stage companies this provides the necessary direction and execution required to move the company toward growth and profitability. During the weeks that we are not at your site, we provide continuity via telephone, email and conference calls. Typical assignments are 6 to 18 months. Most of the time we carry your business card with an Executive Vice President title and work with you and your team in one of the following ways:

1. LEADERSHIP ROLE ? In this work style, our interim executive serves as acting CEO and assumes control of all business side functions (finance, sales, marketing, business development, etc.) while providing leadership and direction for the entire organization. Our executives are most effective in this role.

2. PARTNERSHIP ROLE ? In this work style, our interim executive works in partnership with you and assumes a business development role only. This would include strategic planning, business & operating plan development, fund raising, strategic partnering, and sales.

3. PROJECT ROLE ? In this work style, our interim executive works on specific projects for which you have defined a scope, timeframe and budget.

DUE DILIGENCE SERVICES
nFlexion has significant experience working with venture capital firms and strategic corporate investors. We also have recent experience working with investment banks and mezzanine capital sources such as hedge funds. Our executives have an extensive network of contacts within the venture capital community worldwide and have significant experience in the due diligence process. Mr. Willner has personally been through the due diligence process over 20 times as the CEO of multiple startup companies. More recently Mr. Willner and other nFlexion executives have been engaged by venture firms to assist in their due diligence process for startups they are considering for investment
