Well according to LQMTs study... CnC would cost $125 per canard... Lqmt would be 50k per mold then $56 per canard un polished. Lets do simple math 1000 parts CNC 125,000 LQMT 106,000 its cheaper yes the question is how many missles will the millitary want per year... I dont see millions of parts being shipped in one year. Lets say millitary wants 100,000 so were looking at a 610,000 for liquid metal and that in profits with a 20% margin 122,000 in profits... This is not a giant deal however if this works lockheed contracts them for all future fins... Why would they not if its cheaper.... And then ur looking at millions...
