I really don't see any news in the near future that would be bearish for gold. No taper this year, they will never taper imo it's the only thing propping up the economy. Jobs reports will be horrible, not only because of the shutdown, but also nothing was accomplished with the short team deal. Same problems just a few months away, businesses will scale back hiring as sales are stagnant because of all this uncertainly. Of course there will be pullbacks along the way, but I think the lows in gold are in.
