Yes, I will give you that! I prefer round to square in my designs. But I will say it is typically easier to design structures with square / rectangular tubing.

I see a lot of round tubing on the Krause model. In Column loading and bending, the square tubing (as used on the Street Slider) is 1.7X stronger than round tubing (as used on the Krause model).
In this case the round tubing is most likely "strong enough", and looks nice, however, to make a blanket statement that it is stronger and holds more weight, should be validated thru proper FEA analysis and testing before I will accept it that easily!
You may notice that many of the leading edge bikes, now days, have lightweight, carbon composite construction. The shape that is becoming predominate in this material...RECTANGULAR!
