Sorry Watts, I thought I saw a post from you that said you were a true sailor or words to that effect. I was in the U.S. Navy, and also sailed my own little "yacht", the Imagine, on Lake Erie as well as some other wind-powered vessels before and since.

Oceanographic research is pretty cool. Forgive me for mistaking the U.S. Navy and my little yachts for your idea of "sailing." I've spent months upon months, years if you are counting, on the ocean, and would have been happier I suspect had they been on a research vessel rather than on a man 'o war. But so many memories best lost, eh, matey?
