Almost any stock will have a daily short interest. Look at any stock on any exchange and you'll probably see the same (fill in the blank). Market makers are permitted to short to keep an orderly market. This would be expected on particularly high volume days when MM inventory might be low or there are momentary shortages of inventory.

This guy either doesn't know what he is talking about or is here to unsettle the wary. Just like BSmith.

Why people around here bother with them other than to tell them to eff off is beyond me.
