Please everyone remember it is not the panel that makes the decision to allow the sNDA, it is the FDA..They would have to do some pretty awful things to pull AMRN's ticket on this..They would have to treat Vascepa differently from niacin and fibrates..differently in a bad way..even though both these drugs have much worse safety profiles than V..and actually a proven track record saying they can not cut the mustard, while this is not the case with AMRN...and JELIS says they can reduce CVD events..

Also they would have to swallow the BS that the placebo somehow fudged the ANCHOR trial when the FDA can not prove that it did and most information on mineral oil flies in the face of such a bold faced conjecture..

Not to mention the FDA slapping a gag order on any mention of inflammation.. When there is a mountain of scientific evidence that says athersclerosis and DM are both primarily inflammatory diseases..
