It seems to be a pretty big deal in the eyes of companies like HUGHES this is a PR talking about the same type early warning system. Seems like its going to be a major new market trend to help protect us during emergencies.

I live in new jersey and during sandy our infrastructure was destroyed if we had a system in place like this it would have made everything much much much easier.
