Guess you do not catch my drift..There is more than one way to define effectiveness..There is therapeutic effectiveness that you are focused on. There is also the economic effect on the current run away health care costs that must be considered..We know from the JELIS and epidemiological studies that the EPA/AA ratio in the Japanese population (and other "fish eating" populations) is higher than in the USA...The effect of 4 gms/day of EPA is to bring an American patient in line with Japanese..The incidence of CVD and T2 Diabetes in Japan is significantly lower and so is the health care costs on a per capita basis..Can the USA afford not to OK Vascepa?
