Taken out of context the quoted text could be seen as pretty damning; however, I think there needs to be a context to make it understandable. So I offer the following points:

1. Bud, the CEO, is a very cautious individual and the tone of this quote is in-keeping with his continued attempts to not be seen as "pumping the stock."

2. If things are as dire as you seem to think, then why even bother to release anything - just go out of business.

3. You're last post on this board was December 17, 2012. While I won't question the motives for your post I think it's safe to say that you don't follow the company and, in all likelihood, don't own a single share. That makes me think that you're probably just a troll who posts for your own purposes. It can't be to drive the price down so you can buy cheap, so it must be for some other "cheap" thrill.
